its our 5th birthday…

It’s been 5 years. 5 grueling years of long hours, of a pandemic, of our bakery flooding, of rising prices everywhere. 5 fabulous years of connecting with our neighbors, being a part of our customers’ milestones, of seeing your smiling faces and hearing your “thank yous.” We’re so grateful for our friends and families who have supported us and ultimately have made this business possible. Thanks to them for pushing us to continue and for offering advice when we need it most.

To say it’s been a rollercoaster would be an understatement. But if that’s what we’re going with I’d say right now we’re on a dip. A dip we may not rise out of. We’re in a place where we’re struggling to keep our lights on and our ovens working. We need your help.

We absolutely hate asking for help. We call to our strength, we put our heads down, and we work harder. Because we want to deserve to be here. We want our product to be the best it can be. We’ve lived by the motto that if our pastries are delicious enough we can’t possibly fail.

This 5 year mark is huge for us. This might be the last year for us, our days are seemingly numbered. How can you save us? Come eat pastries. Get a cake for your next dinner party, your next birthday, your next celebration. Support us, your friends. Support our families, support our community, support our cause.

We would love to make improvements such as: offer shipping, add more seating to our patio, invest in marketing. We can’t do any of it without you. We’d love to continue to be here for you, when you need a delicious pick-me-up or a croissant to cry into.

Thank you so much to everyone who has been supportive, who has showed up, who has ordered. We have the coolest customers and we’ve made great memories at Hazel & Jade. We love ya’ll.
